Tika Chicken

My son is the pickiest eater alive.
He will only eat smooth peanut butter. He doesn't eat the end pieces of bananas or hot dogs. He only likes eggs scrambled.
But a few nights ago, when my husband was making a Tika Chicken and he asked what we should feed the kids, I shrugged and said, "I think that's dinner and they can eat it if they're hungry."
We were both fairly sure our daughter would try the food, but our son would just eat his veggies or fruit. However, sometimes it's about the lesson and the exposure.

So, like good parents, we gave our son the food, but we lied and said there was no spice in it.

Then, to our surprise, Cole ate the chicken and liked it. Simultaneously, he was very curious why his mouth felt HOT and he couldn't cool down the food.

He did eventually find a solution.

Sometimes kids surprise you.
