This morning, there was a bit more of bounce in my step. It was, after all, Friday.
In my morning giddiness, I turned on the radio as I ate breakfast with the kids and we bopped to some of the tunes as we ate our Honey Nut Cheerios. The radio broadcaster reminded me that today is the last day of summer. Cole is an autumn baby, so I thought he might get excited at the idea that his birthday is coming up. So I said to him, "Cole! Today is the last day of summer! Guess what comes next?"
He looked up at me with a twinkle in his eyes and cried, "SATURDAY!"
