Memory

Today, a lady walked into the Calling New Parents group that I attend and she instantly recognized me. I thought I recognized her too (I go to many, many new parents groups throughout the week). She was very friendly and kind of apologetic for her exclamation of "I KNOW someone here!" in reference to me. Feeling overwhelmed with her warmth and misplaced confidence I said to her, "I'm sorry, I forget your name, but...." I pointed to the baby in the car seat she was holding, "Victoria, right?!"

She smiled, "Keith actually."
