Thunder Bay 2013

Amelia helped me pack our suitcases for our trip to Thunder Bay.
We drove downtown and took the ferry across to Centre Island Airport.
We were flying Porter this time.

The complimentary almonds and beverages were a nice touch.
The $3 muffins and $10 sandwiches, not so much.

Grandpa and Grandma were happy to see us!
Amelia's first mini-putting experience was at Boulevard Lake (the same place where Cole had his first mini-putting experience). We each got one shot per hole, because after that, Amelia would collect all our balls and drop them into the hole.

We got to meet Evan Daniel Currie this trip!
We spent a lot of quality time with Marlo and Dan and Nora too.

Hanging out at The Moose Hall while Grandpa works.

We all surprised Grandpa with a 60th Birthday Party at The Moose.
Here's a rare Peron family picture.

No Thunder Bay trip would be complete without a trip to the Hoito.

And, of course, a trip to the Chippewa Zoo.
A rainy day ended up being the perfect day. It meant, we got to see the wolves, coyotes, arctic foxes, caribou, elk and many other animals that might normally be hiding from the hot sun.

 Nana Bijou.

 The rejuvenated waterfront was unbelievable.

The splash pad was a hit, despite the cooler temperatures. Who would have thought that four inches of water could be so much fun.

Good-bye, Thunder Bay, for another year!
